History of the Elements VI

The Mark of Shintu, Spirit of Light

Shintu

This is the sixth post in a series of seven, focusing on the history of the different elements represented by the Warriors of Quorantalthien. Today's focus is on Shintu, or the Spirit of Light.

Shintu

Seeing the inherent goodness in his heart, Nayét granted Shintu control over light.  Shintu served in his role as a Warrior for nearly 900 years before passing away and transferring his powers to an element stone.

Guroní

Although his name meant "Darkness," Guroní was chosen to serve as Warrior of Shintu before eventually turning to join the Demon Mages.  He eventually lost his element stone in battle, leaving it to be discovered by his successor.

Shius

Shius discovered the element stone a few weeks after Atanorkaritan had started the new generation.  She became Queen of the Light Elves, a kingdom that was on its way to extinction.  After the Mages destroyed the kingdom of Fire Elves, they turned their focus to the Light Elves and Shadow Elves, hoping to one-by-one destroy each of the remaining kingdoms.  A hundred years after Kuré died, Shius was attacked by Shíoní and Guroní.  They stripped her of her powers and left her to die.  More of Shius' story is revealed in Demons of Legend.

Katrina

Katrina gained her powers at Tyson's insistence, becoming the first Warrior in history to be chosen by a living being.  She learned to control the element in the midst of battle before the Warriors returned to Earth.

Stay tuned!  The final chapter of the History of the Elements series, focusing on Vorté, the Spirit of Darkness!
